My woe Number1: What to cook today!!!

This is actually quite silly for many and simple for others and tiring for the rest. I fall in the later category. I never stepped in the kitchen before I was married. Even if I did it was just to grab snacks or a glass of water but never took a fancy to cooking which led to bigger problems after I got married. You see I was a working woman. Even after I got married I worked. My handsome husband always understood that I was not a woman to be tied at home. We had a maid and a cook who were paid brilliantly! Everything was going on smoothly until we moved to the US in 2014. I was on H4 and there started my woes! It was difficult at first. I was new to cooking and either it was bland or too much salt. Finally after a year I learnt to cook which is now not a big deal however making snacks for my hungry husband is a big deal still joining him is my 3 year old. Yesterday my hubby came home early and wanted to have a light snack! "Now what is that light snack?" I ask him and he replies "Whatever you got at home!"
I say "How about onion dosa or pakoda"  "No"
"How about poha or sandwich"
"No"
"How about noodles?"
"No"
So this goes on until we come to the thing he wanted was Puri with kheema curry.
The thing is it was almost 7 and now this!!! The lucky thing is I had kheema in the freezer for occasions like this. So I go ahead make it and it was dinner time. So we had it for dinner. So the snack time goes to dinner. Well it is not almost like this always but sometimes yes. I wonder if it is me or does most of you face this issue?

My recipie for a quick kheema curry (thought I would share it!) has been borrowed from the below site
http://www.sailusfood.com/2009/04/17/kheema-curry/

I have used the meat masala powder instead of the ground garam masala powder.

Trust me this recipe works and I vouch for it and it is simple and easy to follow!!!

WIth few calories on we had a good dinner and a good night's sleep!

The recipe is a hit!

Till next time, see you!
